2026 Weekday Tournaments

January 8* and 12-16

Hello Weekday Golfers,

HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope you are all looking forward to new year of golfing fun!

The dates are Jan. 8* and 12-16. *Thursday Seniors may play their tournament round on Jan.8 as they are dark on Jan. 15. The format is individual low net.

IMPORTANT NOTE - The Weekday Tournament is always played the week leading to the Weekend Tournament. In past years, the Weekend Tournament was played 10-11 days after the general Wed. monthly meeting. However this has now changed as Weekend signups are done on-line. Weekend Tournaments are now on the 3rd weekend of the month (2nd in Nov. and Dec.), resulting in some Weekday Tournament dates being earlier than in past years. This also results in 6 months where the Thursday Seniors will play the week just before the actual week due to them being dark in those weeks.

For those new to the club or new to playing in the Weekday, please read the information sheet carefully. Contact me if you have any questions that are not answered on the info sheet. Note that there is NO signup or pay on Golf Genius for this.

Those playing in the weekend tournament on January 18 are not eligible to play the Weekday Tournament

TEE TIME

  • Round is played any day, Monday-Friday January 12-16, 2026. *Thursday Seniors group may play their tournament round on Jan. 8 as they are dark on January 15.

  • Members are responsible for getting their own times and pay the starter for green fees/cart; there are no sign-up fees and no sign-up on Golf Genius. You must play with at least one other LVMGC member who must sign the scorecard.

FORMAT

  • Format for this month is INDIVIDUAL LOW NET.

  • ** Per current club procedures, a maximum of 10 stokes on any hole is allowed.

  2. Put your card in the BLUE PLASTIC (Weekday Tournament) BOX in the Pro Shop, which will be collected Saturday morning. Scores & handicap checked for accuracy.

  3. Score cards must be legibly signed by the Scorer and Attest (or write in GHIN).

  4. Rounds must be posted as COMPETITIVE score on SCGA website.
